Wait for the ultrasound.

Last month, a week before my period, I had to have my IUD removed for medical reasons. It just didn't work for me. I had bleeding for 4 days after the removal. A bit later than usual, 1.5 weeks after removing the IUD, I got my 'period' on September 20th. It lasted 1.5 days. Not much at all. Every few hours, a drop of red and brown discharge.

Two days later, I had lower back pain and a bit of bleeding, and I tested a week later. Mainly because I felt nauseous and had to vomit every day around 2 PM. This lasted for over 2 weeks. Negative test. Since the IUD had just been removed and I react sensitively to hormones, I wrote it off to that. I also thought I might just have a virus or something.

This month, I didn't get my period. I took a test 2 days after my expected period. As soon as the urine hit the test strip, it showed a positive result. With my previous pregnancy, I had a very faint positive line a full week after my expected period.

I also tested because my mom didn't trust it. I'm very tired, I feel really cold, and I suddenly lost my taste for cheese. I also get regular twinges in my belly...

I've told the midwife the story. They assume the previous bleeding was my period, which I'd like to believe. But it's still bothering me. We'll have to wait until November 17th for the ultrasound... Hope everything is okay.
