Hi ladies. I need to get something off my chest.
Due to bleeding, I had an ultrasound last Tuesday to see if there was still anything left in my uterus (I don't know my cycle). I went to the ultrasound on Tuesday, had an internal scan, and only a gestational sac was visible, measuring 9.3mm by 6.3mm. The sonographer said and thought it was too early to see anything else. Around 4:30 PM on Tuesday, I had severe cramps. I went to the toilet and passed a very large clot, about 4 or 5 cm thick. I really thought, "Oh no, I'm having a miscarriage." I thought I had lost the baby. After passing the clot, the bleeding stopped immediately. I called the midwife with the sad news. She said I should call again if other symptoms developed. On Wednesday, I still had cramps and wasn't feeling well, still bothered by "symptoms." Last night I lay awake all night with abdominal cramps, bleeding, and worrying. This is my 3rd miscarriage in a row; I feel like my body is really letting me down. This morning I called the midwife again because the pain just wasn't pleasant, and I was afraid something might have been left behind. I was told to come in this afternoon for an ultrasound to check if there were any remnants left. When I arrived for the ultrasound, externally I immediately saw the gestational sac with something inside?
I didn't understand anything. I thought I had lost everything. The embryo was 1.7mm, and the gestational sac had grown to 12mm. According to the sonographer, the gestational sac always leads the embryo. But she didn't want to give me false hope because there was still a clot next to the embryo and gestational sac. So it's a wait-and-see whether that clot will pull the gestational sac along. According to my calculation, I should be 5 weeks and 5 days. According to the midwife, I would be 6.4 weeks, and according to the ultrasound and the size of the embryo, it would be 4.6 weeks. This uncertainty is driving me crazy. I know this is really a special case, but what do you think, is a miscarriage imminent?

(I did have a very high HCG level, so the chance of twins was also very much present.)
