Pregnant and working
work evaluation during pregnancy
Good morning?
I mentioned my pregnancy right away in my performance review at the beginning of the year. Now, in October, I had another review at 28 weeks pregnant.
At the beginning of the year, he already indicated to my manager that my performance was just "sufficient," but my new evaluation is apparently not good. He also acknowledges that a large part of my functioning is due to the pregnancy: dreamy, forgetting a lot, lacking overview. During that meeting, and when signing the evaluation, I thought something like, "well, whatever." But once I got home, I started overthinking. Is this really fair? This is an interim review covering the period from the start of my pregnancy.
Am I somehow being held less accountable during pregnancy, especially since he himself admits that he notices it's due to my pregnancy.
What should I do now? The stress he's causing me right now doesn't feel very well-planned either!
