Is my baby growing well?

Hi! I'm 18 weeks pregnant today. I went to the OB-GYN on Thursday, and she told me our girl was 11.30 cm long. My question is: isn't that a bit small? As far as I know, she should be about 20 cm. That's a difference of almost 10 cm.

I had an ultrasound at 16 weeks, and the baby was 16 cm long and weighed 152 grams. But I was told he was ahead in weight and length. At 24 weeks, he weighed 655 grams, but I don't really see what happened in between..
Didn't you ask your OB-GYN for more explanation?

    Hi A,
Our little one was 14 cm and 186 grams at 17 weeks. She was fairly well on the curve then, but at 22 weeks she was only 21.3 cm. A bit small, but no reason to panic. Until 28 weeks, they all have their growth spurts at different times. My OB-GYN won't make any statements about whether it's a big baby or not until 28 weeks because after that, they grow in a straight line. Before that, it's really up and down.
I'm now 25 weeks and in just 2 weeks my uterus has grown enormously. So I think she's just had a growth spurt now too.
