1st trimester
yesss pregnant
I just joined the forum and registered myself.
Last week we took a week-long vacation in Zeeland with our little family.
It was just me, my husband, our 2-year-old and 9-month-old son Jetze, and our sweet, loyal Labrador.
I was supposed to get my period while on vacation, but it didn’t show up.
I took a test during the trip and, yes, we’re expecting our second little miracle.
I had just had the IUD removed that same month, and it happened so quickly with our son. IUD out, pregnant the same month.
Now, I already have a little bump at 5 weeks pregnant, and I’m also feeling some kind of stomach ache and lower back pain at times.
We have our first ultrasound on October 3rd. So excitingdddd!

it's also really nice to be pregnant again. It's just so hard not to tell anyone.
So over the next few weeks, I'll be chatting here about the pregnancy.
Tomorrow, according to my own calculation, I'll be 6 weeks along, and then my in-laws will be back from vacation. Then my son will tell them that he's going to be a big brother, using a t-shirt he'll wear.
On the front, it says "I'm brave," and on the back, it says "I'm becoming a big brother."
I'm curious when they'll notice.

Fun idea! We did that with our niece who was 11 months old. Put on a shirt saying "Yes! I'm getting a nephew or niece!"
They loved it so much, hehe, -

That's indeed nice, such a t-shirt.
One of my sisters couldn't get pregnant, so they had already tried artificial insemination 4 times and after the 5th time they would stop (Very expensive!)
During a family gathering everyone had their own place with name cards,
my parents had 'Pa' and 'Ma'
Later my brother-in-law made hats out of them and put them on my sister and his head,
my father just laughed that my mother didn't notice, Hahaha!!
It was such a terrible beautiful, emotional moment!! -

Good morning ladies,
just a quick update on how we told them we're pregnant, using my son's t-shirt that he was wearing.
My in-laws came back from vacation and my son was happily playing outside in his t-shirt with a body warmer over it to hide the text "I'm becoming a big brother" on his back.
After we had a lovely lunch and my in-laws had shared all about their vacation, I asked my mother-in-law if she could take off Jetze's body warmer because it was really too warm.
When she took it off and Jetze ran off, my in-laws looked at him and immediately jumped up, tears in their eyes, congratulating us.
This was the reaction we had hoped for, unfortunately right after that we got a call that my brother-in-law was on his way to the ZKH hospital after an accident while playing football. My mother-in-law and I went to the hospital to pick up my plastered brother-in-law.
After that, we continued chatting and laughing with the family.
