bleeding!!!

Hi ladies,
I'm over 10 weeks pregnant. Since week 5, I've had some brown discharge after almost every toilet visit. Now, for over a week, I've also had blood when wiping after each toilet visit. Today, for the first time, I had light pink bleeding. Just a little bit.
I'm really worried. I don't have severe pain, but tonight I do feel a bit of light menstrual cramping. It could also be because I'm so focused on it.
Who else has experienced this or had it before, and how did it all turn out in the end? I have my first ultrasound on Thursday. I really hope everything is okay.

Best,
Very concerned mother2b

Oh my goodness, that must be so stressful for you. I totally get why you want to know right now if everything is okay. I see that your ultrasound is on Thursday. Sending you lots of good vibes!
I had a miscarriage at five weeks, which started with brown discharge. You're already ten weeks now! Though you do have some brown streaks in your discharge. At the time of my miscarriage, I read so many stories, and I know there are many women who even bled throughout their entire pregnancy. So that's also possible. It could also be that a small blood vessel burst or something similar. I'm hoping for the best for you. Just keep an eye on whether the stomach pain gets worse, and if the bleeding gets worse, also check your temperature.
That uncertainty must be really tough for you. Love,

Thank you for your response, Anonymous.
It really is so frustrating, the uncertainty. It seems to have gotten worse in the last few days. Not the pain, because that's negligible. But the bleeding and the brown discharge. I'd love to have the ultrasound right away, but well... I have to be patient and we'll know more on Thursday. I don't have a good feeling about it. With the previous 2 pregnancies, I didn't have any of this at all. That makes me even more unsure.

Since last night, I’ve been losing actual red blood. I’m really scared of the worst..

Hi mama37. Good luck tomorrow! The ultrasound. I see that you're now losing red blood. I'm obviously hoping for the best, but it's advisable to also consider a less favorable outcome.
It all depends on this morning. I'm keeping my fingers crossed for you!
    Love

So sorry, ladies. I've cried my eyes out. The baby stopped growing from week 6 onwards. The heartbeat has stopped. I now have to wait until my body naturally miscarries. How do I tell my 8-year-old daughter? She was so happy and kissed my belly every time. It hurts the most for her.

Thank you so much, dear Stef! I didn't expect to get so emotional. I just told my 8-year-old daughter too. She already knew we had the appointment and immediately asked how the baby was doing. So we sat down with her right away. My heart truly broke into a million pieces. She cried so hard. pffffff.... I'm just completely shattered.

    Hey hey,
I've also had miscarriages and a baby loss.
    My world fell apart.
I also have a son who's 9 years old and he knows about it too. We tried for two years to get pregnant and it didn't work.
Because of all the enthusiasm, we told people, but now that I'm back on solid ground, I do feel a bit regretful about having told them already. Because you never know...
I can only tell you from my own experience that the pain becomes less intense... and definitely don't give up... were you pregnant right away?
    Greetings

We weren't really trying to conceive. We have two girls. We were like, if it's meant to happen, great, and if it's not meant to be, that's fine too. This is our first miscarriage for us. So it's hitting us pretty hard right now. I think it always hits you like that anyway. The waiting until the baby comes out is really tough. I'll wait out this weekend and see how things go on Monday. I'll also have to tell my work about it. pfffdd... I'm dreading that too. Anyway, I'm not going to work next Monday. I'm not sure how this works out logistically at work either. But mentally, I just can't handle it right now.

Oh my god, mama37. That's so intense. And having to wait until it's out now.
I can see why you're so sad, especially with your other kids.
How are you and your partner doing? Supporting each other?
