I sometimes feel like clients don't take me into account, which often makes me feel sad. Lately, I've felt most at home here. When I go to work, I feel sad.

I actually don't dare to tell this, because I'm afraid people will think I'm exaggerating.

Today I had to clean a client's window, and I couldn't really manage it well, even with the step ladder, so I had to lean on her sink with my knees. With the same client, I had to clean the shelves where dangerous products are stored. I felt really bad about this today because I had to do something I wasn't 100% comfortable with. I feel like my pregnancy isn't being taken into account, which I find really upsetting.

With another client, I had to clean her garage every week, and her cars are parked there too. So it often smells like car exhaust fumes. I told her I'd rather not clean her garage anymore because I can't handle it due to my pregnancy. A week later, she gave me a tip to leave the garage slightly open and clean it at the end. I'm not 100% okay with this either, but I feel like I'm being forced somehow.

I always wear gloves, but sometimes they tear.

I'm not sure what to do anymore.

I don’t know if you’re doing this work off the books or through your employer. If it’s through your employer, you can talk to them about it.
You could also buy some good gloves, either yourself or through your employer. And a face mask.
