Pregnant for the first time

Hi everyone,
Last week I took a pregnancy test and it clearly said pregnant!
I was 11 days late and had already been experiencing breast soreness for over 2 weeks. Normally, this only lasts about 1 week right before my period. But I also didn't dare take a test earlier because I was so afraid of disappointment.
This is my first pregnancy and it makes me so anxious. I'm constantly worried about whether I should eat healthier (I eat normal veggies and fruit, not extremely unhealthy, but still).
I've also had severe stomach/intestinal discomfort for a few days now. My partner assured me this is normal, but man, sometimes I just lie awake because of it. Anyone with experience/tips for this? I do notice that it calms down a bit when I drink some lemon water.
I also have a friend who knows everything. He already has two kids, you'd think he'd know better than to argue about how a pregnant body works. He claims, for example, that I really need to eat for two, while I read that this isn't necessary. Plus, my appetite isn't what it used to be right now, so it irritates me when he starts talking about such things. And then he adds, "you're only just pregnant," as if my body isn't doing anything special just because he can't see it.
He's really not a jerk, I think he just forgets that this is my first time and I experience everything as intense and new.

Oh yeah, I was wondering that too—when do you guys tell your loved ones?
I know it's safe to shout it from the rooftops after 12 weeks, but I just can't keep it to myself.
I've told two friends now, both of whom already have one or more kids. Mainly because I can ask them things that way, etc. My mom passed away, my sisters don't have kids (yet), and my dad... that poor guy would have a heart attack if I told him. Or well, I know he probably won't react very enthusiastically.

Every body reacts differently to pregnancy. So no one can tell you how you 'should' feel. I ended up on sick leave before 8 weeks due to back pain. Even though there's nothing visible yet, hormones are raging through your body and it's working hard. I take Mama Plus daily. It has all the vitamins and folic acid you need. Don't stress too much about food. You don't need to eat for two, but you might get hungry more often. Have an extra sandwich or some fruit then. When you tell others, it's personal for everyone. I told people early because of a previous miscarriage, so they could support me if anything happened. First pregnancy was very uncertain at first. Now at 23 weeks, I feel much less unsure. Try to enjoy it too, it's a little miracle in your belly!

I’ve also started taking Davitamon Mama Compleet.
I have so little appetite at the moment, hope this passes quickly. I’m also quite cold, so maybe that’s contributing to the awful feeling too.
I’m afraid to tell people because I don’t want to jinx it or something. I know it makes no sense. And maybe also because it still feels unreal to me. I’ll only believe it when I see the ultrasound. According to the pregnancy calculator, I’m about 6 weeks pregnant, so just 6 more weeks to wait!

Did you have the first ultrasound at 12 weeks?

Yeah.. the doctor advised me to do an ultrasound earlier than that. Well, it'll happen between 10 and 12 weeks then.

Yeah, that varies from midwife to midwife.

    Hi!
This is also my first pregnancy. I'm 8 weeks along, so still very early, and I find it super exciting but also a bit uncertain. My first ultrasound is on Wednesday, I'm so curious.
    Greetings,
    Valerie
