I'm exactly 22 weeks pregnant with our first baby today and I do feel kicks regularly, but nothing more than that. Do you guys feel that too?
Would love to hear your experiences..
Love, Femke

If you don't know what it feels like when your baby kicks, you'll keep wondering if what you're feeling is really it! I'm at 13.5 weeks now and already feel those little pops! But that's really because I know what it feels like and can recognize it (5th pregnancy, so I've got some experience by now;-)) With our first, it also took much longer before I recognized the feeling! But by 22 weeks, you really feel it... maybe even a few weeks earlier, but you didn't know what it was and put it down to your bowels? You should try lying down and pushing on your tummy, just wait a bit, then the baby will come towards your hand, you can play with 'him' and make contact, it's so beautiful! That's basically possible from around week 20, so I think you can try it too! Enjoy it!

let it be like bubbles in your belly, i think
with my oldest it was at 5 months and with the second it was already at 3 months because you indeed know what feeling it gives

I'm sure that's your baby, Femke, at 22 weeks:-)
Yeah, gently tapping your warm hand on your belly or something, and the baby comes towards your hand and responds.
I've also been feeling little pops here and there with over 12 weeks...
The first one was at 16 weeks, the second at 13 weeks, this one a bit earlier than the second :-D
Enjoy it... it's really so lovely...

Thanks everyone for your replies, so sweet!
I don't feel it yet, I'll just put my hand down and tap a little, maybe patience... hehe
When did you really feel the kicks?
    Love, Femke

    No worries, girl!
Nah, it's still too early for that... I haven't felt it yet either!
But once you're a bit further along, the baby will really start kicking toward you :-)
Oh, I don't remember exactly when they really started kicking, but that was a few weeks later...

    Hi Hi!!

I was 17 weeks when I first got a real kick in my lower right belly,
the next day the same thing 4 or 5 times in a row like a nerve twitching.
So I never felt "plops or tickles like butterfly wings".
And from then on, every single day.
At 20 weeks I could make contact, went first `by mistake I tapped without thinking 3 times on my belly and got an unexpected answer!!

I was wondering if it could feel like this. A nerve pulling instead of bubbles or tickles, that's how I experience it too!

    And we've moved!

It's already very active here with me, along with hard contractions. Sometimes annoying, but when I lie flat, it's quite cozy

I'm also expecting our first.. And at 13-14 weeks I could already feel her. Based on pops and exactly like butterflies in my belly. However, at 16-17 weeks, papa could even feel her kicking and see her kicking. Nobody believed us, our doctor said it wasn't possible. Well, I had to get blood drawn and she was very active and told them, "Well, feel for yourselves then," and he felt and had to admit I was right. He did immediately feel my belly or if she wasn't mistaken about dates or something, but everything clicked with the 16-17 weeks..
It really depends from woman to woman.. And one recognizes it easier than the other.. Of course, if you already have some kids, you'll recognize this faster.

Well, enjoy your pregnancy and the movements in your belly before you know it, it's all over!
    Love, Daphne

Hey Femke, I'm 24 weeks and have been feeling those little pops for a while now.
At first I wasn't sure if it was the baby, but now I'm pretty sure.
I'm starting to feel them more and more clearly.

It kind of depends on how your placenta is positioned.
Mine is positioned towards the back (towards my spine).
At 16 weeks, I could already feel little twinges, and when I pressed on my belly, sometimes there was a soft tap..
Now at 23 weeks, when I lie down, I can already see the little one kicking.. My belly then rises quite a bit in the spot where it kicks..
Even when the little one is lying sideways, I can feel the ends of the little one (head or bottom) on my belly.
It's nice to feel life inside you.

With the first one, I felt them between 20 and 25 weeks, and now with the second one, I've been feeling them from week 15 onwards.
