Full-time or part-time work and the dilemma of the function

Hi! I'll be a mom of 2 soon! I had a hard time dropping off my first daughter at daycare, partly because I wasn't happy with the daycare. Back then, I worked full-time. Now I've applied for part-time, but at my company, there's only one position available: Call Agent. Currently, I'm a consultant. The Call Agent hours are:
Week 1: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday from 8am to 12pm.
Week 2: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday from 4pm to 8pm, and Friday and Saturday from 8am to 12pm.
My direct supervisor advised against taking the position: 1) because I'd get bored: I'd be going from a versatile role to an execution-focused one. And she claims I'd barely see my kids one week out of two. I don't know what to do anymore. Stay where I am now and work Monday to Friday from 8:30am to 5:30pm,... I could get Wednesdays and Friday afternoons off,...
I'd love your opinions because I'm still hesitating.

I'd look for another job that better fits your situation. Ultimately, your kids should come first.

If it works out financially and you don't really enjoy your job, I'd look for a part-time job with better hours. If you really love your job and aren't keen on another one, maybe consider staying home longer after the birth, applying for parental leave, or something like that?

Do you think it's true that I won't see my eldest daughter if I take the late shift? (She's 3 years old)... I thought: I'll take the job, if I don't like it, I'll look for another job. I'll also have more time to look for another job. I can more easily go to interviews since I work half-days....

If you work until 8 PM, she'll probably already be in her crib? My little one was put to bed at that age at 7 PM.

Should I keep pretending to be where I am now? Because I want to work part-time to see my kids more, and I figure if I don't have to start until 4 PM, I'll have time to drop my daughter off at school comfortably and maybe let her eat at home.

Just do what feels best for you. You can work like this and maybe look for a part-time job where you'll be home early enough to put the kids to bed yourself.
