25 weeks pregnant, baby moving

I'm now 25 weeks pregnant with my first baby and I work in home care. I just had my holiday (weeks 21-23) and then I felt the little one move more than I do now, in my opinion. The job is relatively heavy, lots of walking and bending. At work, I never feel the little one move. I also have the placenta at the front of my belly, which of course makes a big difference. Still, I sometimes worry that I shouldn't be able to feel her anymore by now? Do others have experience with this?

I think because you're at work, you might not notice that the little one is moving. You don't have to feel it that much at this stage, but at 28 weeks I think you should. If you're unsure, I'd still recommend chatting with your midwife just to be sure and get some peace of mind.

When you're busy moving around, you're basically rocking your baby to sleep. That's why you often don't feel the baby moving when you're working. I used to worry about this too, since I work in hospitality. And indeed, when I have a day off, I feel so much more movement.
