Miscarriage?

Hi hi, I've got something on my mind. I'm currently abroad. I won't be heading back to the Netherlands for another 2 weeks.

I was supposed to get my period last Monday, but it didn't happen. My boyfriend and I took a test 3 days later. A very faint line appeared on the test. (A line is a line, right?)

Yesterday (exactly one week after my period was due), I suddenly started bleeding in the morning. You could compare it to a period, but much lighter. No cramps or pain either. I feel fine otherwise.

My question to you all is whether this might be an early miscarriage, or if I'm just not pregnant and this is just my period? Does a faint line really mean I'm pregnant??

HELP, I have so many questions and feel so unsure. I won't be in the Netherlands for another 2 weeks.

    It could be an early miscarriage, but it could also just be bleeding despite being pregnant. What you can do is take another test and see what it shows a few days later. With a miscarriage, the hCG hormone decreases, so the line shouldn't be there anymore or should be lighter. If the line is clearer, I'd contact your GP when you get back. But no matter how unpleasant it is, whether it's a miscarriage or not, there's nothing you can do except wait and see what happens next. Are you still bleeding, or has it stopped?

    Thanks for your reply! I was indeed thinking about doing another test at the end of the week. This morning I just had a little bit of spotting, but since the afternoon I haven't had anything at all.
