Miscarriage?

Hi!
I really don't know what to think anymore. Exactly a week ago I had bleeding. It started bright red and went over to dark (almost black with 'clumps' with huge stomach cramps. I called the VGH immediately. They told me that it was likely a miscarriage. When I asked if I needed to come in for a check-up, I was told it wasn't necessary. I was then about 6 weeks pregnant (counted from the first day of my last period). After 3 days the bleeding decreased (there was still a little bit).
And here's my question: could it be that I'm still pregnant? Because I have the same symptoms as before the 'miscarriage'. Sore breasts, nauseous all day long etc. Has anyone experienced something like this? I have an appointment with the gynecologist on Aug 9th but I don't think about anything else anymore. Is it useful to take a pregnancy test?

Xoxo

I had the same thing. After my miscarriage at just over 4 weeks, I was still really nauseous and stuff. But I took a test then and it was negative. Maybe you could try that?
With cramps and clots and stuff, it's often not going to work out, you know.
    Wishing you lots of strength!

I was pregnant again 6 weeks later, by the way. Don't give up, okay!

The test can still show positive due to the hCG hormone, which can remain in your body for 6 to 8 weeks after the miscarriage. It’s also possible that your miscarriage wasn’t complete, which is why you’re still having symptoms. For that, they’ll need to do an internal ultrasound.

    Lots of strength
