2nd trimester
Tough mucus
Good morning ladies,
After finally (with Ondansetron) getting rid of some of the nausea and daily vomiting, I now have thick mucus in my throat. I'm not cold, and I don't have any issues with my airways either. But the mucus won't go down and causes constant nausea and gagging (sometimes vomiting). I asked the pharmacy yesterday for something to fix this, and they gave me a cough syrup to try. They didn't ask if I'm diabetic, though, so now while reading the leaflet I realize I shouldn't be taking this at all because of the amount (which isn't specified) of sugars. A tongue scraper doesn't help much and also causes gagging. Drinking water doesn't help either.
Does anyone have the solution for me? I'm at 15 weeks and I really can't keep this up for months
