Heart palpitations

Hi everyone,

I've had severe palpitations for the past few days when I lie down, which is keeping me awake. I know it's a common issue, but I'm going crazy from the sound and the sensation.

Does anyone here have any tips? Maybe certain breathing exercises to help reduce the pounding a bit? I've also tried sleeping with a sound recording to focus on that instead of my heartbeat, and it helps for a little while, but not long enough.

Any tips on podcasts, CDs, or anything else that might help me fall asleep peacefully?

I'm trying to focus on my breathing, it helps a bit. I'll definitely follow along because I have a lot of trouble with it too.

    Hey!

So relatable! I’d often step out for a bit to drink some water and do some breathing exercises. Meditation helped me too.

@edvige Did you follow specific meditation exercises or just do something on your own?

I'm not very familiar with meditation, but I've heard it can help, so I'd like to start with it.
