Blood clot in the uterus, 6 weeks pregnant

Hello ladies. I'm new here. I hope I'm in the right place to find some answers. I had bleeding at work on Wednesday. I was exactly 6 weeks pregnant then. I went to the ER immediately. The ultrasound showed a beating heart, thank God, but also a large blood clot about 7 cm in size surrounding the embryo. The gynecologist said it's actually a very good pregnancy, but I had to stop working immediately and rest completely flat. I also need to use Utrogestan vaginally. If I did all of this, according to the gynecologist, I'd have a good chance of everything turning out fine. That day I lost a little more blood, and the next morning as well, and then nothing more. I assume this is due to the Utro. What I find really strange is that since the day after the first bleeding, all my pregnancy symptoms have disappeared. I'm so confused right now and really hope this isn't a bad sign. I have another appointment with the gynecologist next Friday to see how things are progressing. I don't even know if the baby is still alive. I'm so scared of getting bad news on Friday. And there's nothing I can do. Does anyone here have experience with this? Or does anyone know what to do? I'd really like to know if everything is okay. I've already thought about taking a pregnancy test again just to see if it's still positive. Or is that pointless? Please help me.

That must have been quite a shock for you.
Fortunately, you did see the heartbeat when you went to the emergency room. But if you're still unsure, let them know so they can double-check at the hospital.

Indeed, Cilia, that is indeed very scary. I just really want to know if the baby is still alive. I think there's no other option than to wait until Friday and hope for the best. I no longer have any bleeding or pain, so according to the doctors, there's no reason to go back earlier. At the ultrasound on Wednesday, I was only 6 weeks, so there was very little to see. Next Friday, I'll be 7 weeks and 3 days, and hopefully, I'll be able to hear the heartbeat then, and everything will be okay. Right now, it's just a very anxious wait.

I can totally imagine you being scared. You could try asking if you can come in earlier if someone drops out.
Try not to stress yourself out.

I'm trying to stay as calm as possible, but it's really not easy. I should just lie in the chair all day, moving from the chair to my bed and back. But I still have my 16-month-old son running around here. I'm not allowed to do anything with him because even the slightest wrong movement could lead to a miscarriage. But I can't just neglect my little boy. I'm so confused. I barely recognize myself anymore, and it's still five days to wait. I already got the earliest possible appointment. There's no point in going before 7 weeks; at that stage, it's so tiny that they can barely see anything... Fingers crossed for good news and a beautiful beating heart on Friday.

I'm rooting for you Do you not have a partner or girlfriend who can help you?
A lot is coming your way, but stay calm. Stress is harmful.

I really don't have anyone to help me. I don't have my own family, and from my in-laws, there are only two who can actually help me. My mother-in-law and her sister. My husband's aunt. But they're both older ladies well past 60, and my mother-in-law is already busy with my sister-in-law and her two kids. Plus, they're both still taking care of the household for their two brothers, so I can't really burden them with helping me here. I'm hoping Friday comes soon. I've practically grown into my chair by now.

How are your girls doing? Tomorrow morning back at the hospital for the second ultrasound. I'm curious!

Went to the hospital today for the big check-up after the bleeding last week.
Heard a strong heartbeat and the baby was 0.6 cm big. I'm super happy and very relieved.
The blood clot is still there so we're not out of the danger zone yet. It has shrunk a bit though.
Still on strict bed rest for the next 14 days so still no work and lots of rest and being careful.
I'm so glad I heard the heartbeat. I'm already a bit reassured but I'll take it easy until the clots are completely gone. Next week and the week after another ultrasound to monitor what the blood clot is doing. Hopefully it's gone soon.
Thanks Cillia for your support. Xxx

Hi, I had a blood clot that detached and I lost the baby... I was 9 weeks along and the baby was perfectly fine...

    Hi everyone,
We did another IVF attempt last week after a miscarriage at 7 weeks. I already had some mucus with bleeding beforehand, and the gynecologist said this could be due to an irritated lining. After the embryo transfer, I had no bleeding for a day, but then I started losing mucus with blood again. Sometimes there’s a small clump with it.
Has anyone experienced this? The gynecologist told me not to focus too much on it and that we’d wait and see. I’m so scared after my previous miscarriage.
    Greetings
