I'm 9 weeks and 4 days pregnant now. When I look it up online, it says I'm in the tenth week. How is that possible? I'm in week nine, right?

No, the first week is from day 0 to day 7... So if you've passed 9 weeks, you're in the tenth week... Do you see what I mean? -

Week 1 starts from the first day you're pregnant.. You're only 1 week pregnant after 7 days, and your first week is over. The 2nd week is from 1 week to 2 weeks. Day 7-14, so.. And you continue like that.. If you're 9 weeks pregnant, then you're entering your 10th week. If you're 10 weeks pregnant, so in 3 days for you, you start your 11th week..

The reason I don't get it is because of the midwife. She always says so many weeks and so many days pregnant. So I always say, yeah, I'm 9 weeks and so many days pregnant to everyone... -

Yeah, you're right about that.. Actually, that's what it's all about.. On Thursday you'll be 10 weeks pregnant. That's correct, isn't it? And when you're 12 weeks pregnant, you've passed the most dangerous phase. So just 2 weeks and 3 days left. You'll start your 13th week then. But that's not really important at all, really..
