Why am I worrying?

Good morning! I’ll introduce myself quickly—I’m Anne, 31 years old, and pregnant with my second baby. I’m over the moon because last year we had two miscarriages… I’m now 12 weeks and 3 days pregnant, but I’m so worried that sometimes I don’t know what to do with myself. My due date is December 4th. I’m truly happy, but there’s still this weird feeling gnawing at me… I’m writing this from my phone because this feeling makes me really sad and conflicted. I feel like everything is okay, but is it really? My breasts are sore, and I can feel my uterus growing—it feels like it’s really happening… Best wishes, Anne

Hormones can do crazy things to you, and since you've had two miscarriages, it's not surprising that you're worried. Hopefully, that feeling will lessen as your pregnancy progresses and you get more reassurance that everything is okay, especially when you start feeling actual movement in your belly.

Thank you for your response, and indeed, you're right... and I hope so too. On June 14th, we're getting another ultrasound, and then we'll know if it's a boy or a girl?? Maybe I'll feel a bit more at ease then.
