Awful 11-month leap
Hey, there's probably already a thread about the 11-month sleep regression, but I'm really at my wit's end. My little boy hasn't wanted to sleep in his crib for a week now. It started only during the day last week, and now it's happening at night too. As soon as I put him in his crib, he starts screaming, immediately stands up, and throws his dummy away. Since I know he won't fall asleep on his own like this, I take him out of his crib and put him to bed with me until he falls into a deep sleep, then I put him back in his own crib. But because I'm afraid he'll develop a habit out of this, I'd rather not do it too often. Letting him cry it out isn't an option, and I've already read that staying in the room with him might help, but that doesn't calm him down either. Does anyone have tips on how to get through this? Or should I just let him fall asleep in my bed? Thanks in advance for the tips.
