Hi ladies,

I'm 14 weeks pregnant now and feeling quite uneasy because a hormone level from my triple test wasn't 100% normal... So we decided to have the NIPT done. Last Wednesday I had my blood drawn, and now I'm waiting for the results. I'm sleeping poorly and worrying a lot. Any other ladies who have experience with this?

    First of all, congratulations on your pregnancy!

    Honestly, I didn't know exactly what a triple test was, so I looked up some things online first. It's so frustrating that the test isn't 100% accurate. I can imagine you're constantly thinking about it and probably waking up at night, especially since there's no clear answer—just the possibility—which makes everything feel even more uncertain, I think. I wanted to wish you strength, because this must be really hard. Don't forget that nothing has been definitively diagnosed yet, and there's a good chance everything is fine!

    I'm trying to stay positive, but sometimes you start doubting anyway.
    Hopefully, we'll get reassured soon.

    Sending you lots of strength while you wait, Anneleen!
    I’ve been through the same thing, but after our NIPT test, everything turned out to be perfectly fine. So an abnormal hormone level doesn’t necessarily mean bad news. I’m keeping my fingers crossed with you that everything is okay and that you’ll get your results soon.

    Have you gotten your results and NIPT back yet? Hope it's positive and you can enjoy your pregnancy with peace of mind again!

    I had blood drawn yesterday for the NIPT, so now we're just waiting a bit.

    I had a blood test on Thursday, May 11th, and got the results on Tuesday, May 23rd.

    I had a rash on May 19th and May 31st!

    Hope it's a good result, Emma.
    I pricked 8 days ago, but Ascension Day + Good Friday + a weekend in between meant another weekend + Pentecost is coming up... why the bad timing I think my result will still take a little while.
    Fortunately, I have no bad feelings about it at all, so I'm not dwelling on the negative
    I'm really looking forward to the gender reveal in just under 2 weeks!! So exciting because I have absolutely no idea what it'll be this time around.

    Hi Loola, my results were good, yes. I also had Ascension Day in between, indeed - I expect you'll get the results any moment now or maybe already have them. I wasn't really nervous beforehand either, but waiting makes you kind of anxious. We found out the gender at 13.5 weeks already on the ultrasound It's exciting for you guys, do you have a preference? I had a little bit, though I would've been happy with any outcome, of course. Good luck with your pregnancy!

    Great, Emma. No rash yet, but I'll let you know as soon as I get it. How nice, asking about gender determination already! I have no preference; I always wanted a girl and I already have one, so another girl sounds nice, but a boy would be nice too since I don't have one! I have to admit that I can hardly imagine it being a boy; my sister and I are both girls, and I only have my sister... I don't know any boys funny

    Got the NIPT results today from the doctor and everything is good! The side findings are good too

    Yes, indeed, it's nice to get confirmation that it's good We're going to find out the gender on Tuesday, June 13th... so exciting! Can't wait!

    Hi Emma, we had the gender determination last week... it's a boy
