How to count weeks.

Today, according to my calculations, I'm 5 weeks pregnant. Does that mean I'm entering my 6th week? Just like when I turn 28, I'm entering my 29th year of life. One app says week 5, and the other says week 6. I find this really confusing! How do you count?

5 weeks pregnant means you're entering your 6th week, right... for example, it's often written that 5.3 is 5 weeks and 3 days and in the 6th week...
