1st trimester
Pregnant with the copper IUD
Irisje24
Hi everyone!
Since Saturday I've known that I'm probably pregnant. For a few weeks I've had sore breasts and have just been incredibly tired; I was waiting for my period to start but it never came... Because I was worried, I took a test and two lines showed up... Really shocking! It wasn't planned and honestly not a great time to have a baby right now since I just signed up for a new course and I'm looking for a place to live with my boyfriend. Still, I want to keep it. I can't really be happy yet because I read a lot of scary things about being pregnant with an IUD... and that makes me very anxious... The doctor is calling me back this afternoon and then I hope I can see the gynecologist soon. I just took another test to be sure and this one is lighter than the first one.. does this mean I'm becoming less pregnant? So, a miscarriage starting? I'm really scared. Am I required to have the IUD removed by the gyn? I read that after that about 70-80% of women have a miscarriage...
Here are 2 photos of my test so you understand what I mean by it becoming lighter.
