From Baby to Toddler
Restless
Wendy
Hi,
my 5-month-old son has been very restless in the evenings/nights, moving his head back and forth a lot. This started suddenly a short while ago. I first thought it might be his ears, but I took him to the doctor and everything looks fine there. Then I thought it could be teething. I bought some remedies for this, and they work for a bit, but then he starts moving his head a lot again. He doesn't cry, but he does sometimes grunt. He also doesn't have a fever. Could it still be teething? He might also have a cold, which could be keeping him awake...
Has anyone else experienced this?
During the day he does play a little, but because of the restless sleeping, he gets tired quickly during the day. I also got advice from the doctor to give him a suppository at night. I did that, but he remains restless.
Tips and advice are always welcome!
Kind regards,
Wendy van der Weg
