All good. Going to the OB-GYN next Thursday for the first ultrasound. My blood test was also fine at the GP. Good luck with the ovulation tests!

Oh exciting, the first ultrasound. Hopefully everything is fine! Have fun.

Hi everyone! My average cycle is usually around 25 days, and I was on track last week, but so far no period. I took a test this afternoon and it was negative. I don't use ovulation tests, so unfortunately, I have no idea how far along my cycle is. I don't have any symptoms except that my belly is a bit bloated, like usual right before your period. Has anyone here experienced this?

    Thank you, Irene!

@jannie30 did you use the pill before and have you stopped now? Have you been trying to get pregnant for a long time? Do you have stress? There are a lot of factors that could be causing why you're not having your period right now.

@Irene... I had another ultrasound last Friday. Our baby has grown nicely and the heartbeat is strong. So super happy, but I'm still really sick. Today I'll call my midwife for the next appointment and to ask what I can do to feel better.

@knuffel congratulations from the heart!!!!!! So glad everything is okay. And so nice that your baby has grown. I was a bit worried it might be an empty gestational sac. Luckily not!! How far along are you now? It's really tough that you're feeling so sick. Hopefully, the specialist has some tips for you.

@skullie and hugs, how are you doing?????????
  9. Knuffel #89

I just read your last message! I'm still really sick.. I've been using suppositories for a while now and I feel like the vomiting has become a bit less, but I'm not really happy about it yet..
Monday will already be 10 weeks and Wednesday I'll finally have an ultrasound again. Can't wait!

    How are you doing?

She's having a lot of trouble with symptoms. Nauseous in the mornings, some days more tired than others.

I’ve got another MS... I also burst into tears today. I know I need to let go, I just don’t know how right now. I’ve also suddenly gotten my period faster. First a cycle of 35 and now suddenly 29. My head says to move on to a new month, but my heart isn’t there yet. This month I’m having a harder time with it, and I don’t really know why either. Luckily, my partner helps me and I can talk about it with him. As for the rest, I don’t want to talk to any of my friends about it right now.

Oh, what a bummer, Irene... Every round feels like one too many when you want it so much. How many round is this for you guys? With our first, we were at 7 months and it felt like we had a 0% chance because I was dealing with so many bladder infections, and then suddenly it happened in the very month I thought it was impossible..
  13. irene started this #93

I know you have to assume it’ll take longer. I know that in my head, but my heart says otherwise! And we’ve only been trying since February, so I really shouldn’t complain yet.

Dear Irene, I also had a miscarriage in December, and they usually say that after a miscarriage you're even more fertile. I didn't believe it at first, but now I'm pregnant again, 17 weeks. So hang in there, your little one will definitely come. Hugs and kisses.
  15. irene started this #95

@guest, luckily I haven't had to experience what it's like to have a miscarriage yet. I've been off the pill for a year and a half now and have been trying to conceive since February. So I still have hope, but this period came sooner than my cycle would suggest. It's a bit of a downer, and I had a rough time yesterday. Luckily, I'm feeling a bit better already.
  16. Knuffel #96

I think you might have misunderstood... I think you meant to read "Gast ms" as miscarriage, while you actually meant menstruation.
  17. irene started this #97

Yeah, I think so too, it's not a big deal. Luckily, I haven't had to deal with that (yet). I hope to get pregnant one day and enjoy it.
How are Skullie and the cuddle doing otherwise? Are you enjoying it more now?
  18. Knuffel #98

Anyway, it's getting a bit better.. Feeling a bit less nauseous, luckily.. And otherwise it's still very unreal.. No bump yet.. I don't feel anything. So the real enjoyment is mainly when we go to the midwife for the ultrasound and to listen to the heartbeat and stuff..
But I'm already dreaming a bit about the gender and stuff, you know..

    How are you doing?
  19. irene started this #99

@Knuffel, what a relief that things are already a bit better! Hopefully, you'll get a nice little bump soon! When are you allowed to go back to the midwife?

Things with me are going up and down. I've had a lot to deal with lately. Got my period, no real clarity at work, my sister-in-law passed away suddenly a year ago, and fatigue from all the DIY work. But that's all behind me now. Onward to a beautiful new chapter with lots of DIY!

Ooh, take it easy on your belly, please.. Haha I know by now that at the end of a pregnancy I basically look like a walrus, so if things are a bit slower, I don't mind at all!

Pff I stopped taking my meds a few days ago.. I shouldn't have done that.. And right away, it went wrong again. GP's office is closed due to Ascension Day, of course.. So I'll just call tomorrow.

I really hope for you that it happens quickly..
