Are the heart rate, heartbeat, and umbilical cord pulse the same?

Hi everyone. I'm new to the forums, and since I couldn't find an answer online, I was wondering if anyone here might know the answer to my question. At 8 weeks pregnant, I had my ultrasound. A beautiful, beating heart was visible and audible, but apparently, my mom also saw another beating heart. During the scan, they said there was only one, and I trust that, but my doubts are growing because photos were taken with my phone, and it looks like there might be two gestational sacs (maybe it's just a blur in the ultrasound?).

So my question is whether it's possible for the umbilical cord to also clearly show a heartbeat, and whether that would normally beat in sync with the baby's heart or not.
It would seem amazing if there were two, because even at a very young age it was clear I couldn't have children, until our little miracle suddenly appeared.
Kind regards,
Ava.

The umbilical cord is much thinner than an 8-week-old baby, so that seems unlikely to me. It won't be the first time a baby is missed on an ultrasound, so I'd wait for the next scan. If there are two, it should be clear then.

The mother's and baby's heart rates aren't the same. A normal resting heart rate for an adult is 60 beats per minute (depending on fitness, age, etc.), while for a fetus it's between 120-180 beats per minute (it starts off fast, around week 10 it's 170-180, then slows down a bit). So no, they don't beat in sync.

Thanks for the replies. The measured heart rate was 150 beats per minute, and the other one seemed about the same but was a bit behind. We'll see what it shows in two weeks. One is already more than perfect, and no one could wish for more than a healthy baby (I think).
Wishing you a lovely Easter holiday too!

This is our little miracle, by the way. Located in a heart shape and what we think might be yolks (but we're not doctors either )
