I have a positive pregnancy test, which of course makes us very happy. But questions automatically come up. One of them has to do with the NIPT test.

We’ve decided not to do the NIPT test. Because if our baby had Down syndrome, we’d love them just as much. And other abnormalities can be seen on follow-up ultrasounds anyway. Plus, the test isn’t 100% reliable, and anything can go wrong during pregnancy anyway. Those were enough reasons for us not to do it
