Gender?

Hi there,

I’d love to hear what you all think about the gender... I had a prenatal scan done and at the beginning (from the very first minute) she was very clear that it would be a boy! As the scan continued (looking for nice images of the little one), she suddenly said she’d have to check the gender again because she clearly saw a girl... In the end, she told me she saw both genders clearly... I was asked to come back the following week because they didn’t want the money to be "wasted," and after the first minute, she told me the gender... Now I’m questioning it because she was so sure at the first visit that it would be a boy from the start... Does anyone have a guess? Thanks!

    Hi Mommy-to-be,
From what I see, it looks like a boy.
What was the verdict from the gynecologist?

I find it amazing that people can see that on such an ultrasound. I find it really difficult myself, so I'm not going to take a guess. But I can imagine that you might not have as much trust in her guess now, especially if she was so sure the first time. Hopefully, the OB-GYN can confirm the gender at the 20-week ultrasound.

I'm also really curious whether we'll have a boy or a girl. But we had a NIPT test done, and we're getting the results next week, so then we'll suddenly know the gender too

@Anneleen1986 that's what the midwife told us too at first. Next Friday we're seeing the OB-GYN, so I'm curious what she'll tell us.

@sneeuwvlokje I find it really hard too, first pregnancy so I don't know much about it hihi. Oh how exciting! But yeah, if you do the NIPT test, you can be sure of the gender! I'm curious! Good luck.
