I went to the OB-GYN on Friday.
I thought I was 7-8 weeks along, but at the next visit it was 5.5 weeks. We did see a nice gestational sac and yolk sac. Everything was fine for that stage. She's quite a blunt person. She said either everything is okay or it's a threatened miscarriage.
She told me that the worse I felt, the better! Since this weekend I've been vomiting again when brushing my teeth, and when I'm in the car as a passenger with someone, and peeing extra at night.
And since yesterday (a few nights of bad sleep because of my daughter) I've really been vomiting when I get up after 2 minutes, and sweating and having palpitations in the afternoon while working. I also feel weak and faint sometimes (sometimes I can barely see). I also sometimes feel tingling in my lower abdomen and groin.
I have to go back next Friday.
Is this a good sign or am I just imagining it?

You can call it what you want, or just be honest. As long as no heartbeat has been seen yet, the chances of a miscarriage are still quite high. They decrease once the heartbeat is visible, and the longer the heartbeat continues, the lower the risk becomes. It will never be zero, but that’s true for everyone. You also don’t know when your time will come. It’s also very possible that you’re less far along than you thought, because sometimes ovulation or implantation happens later than expected. And with ultrasounds, I believe they have a margin of error of about one week, either way, regarding the developmental stage. I wouldn’t worry too much right now; it won’t help you anyway. As long as you’re feeling nauseous, there are still hormones in your body. And everyone’s experience with nausea varies—some have it longer than others.

Yeah, that's true. Yeah, she's honest. But she tends to be more negative, so this time she stayed mostly positive, so I trust her. She's known me for 12 years, so yeah. And I'm getting more symptoms. So we're staying positive! Trying anyway as long as I have symptoms. Is that okay, right?
