Bleeding in the 2nd trimester. Anyone else?

Good morning, soon-to-be moms! Last Monday morning, while going to the toilet, I got a huge scare: I suddenly lost a lot of blood. I called the hospital (my pregnancy is monitored by the hospital), and I had to come in immediately by ambulance. Even bigger scare! They turned everything upside down, but everything was okay with the baby. They thought it was a burst blood vessel. Now, two days later, I'm still bleeding (much less, and in waves). I find it very stressful and feel very unsure. Are there more (soon-to-be) moms who have experienced this (or have experienced it)? And especially where the bleeding lasted so long? By the way, I'm exactly 15 weeks pregnant now.
