Are any moms here familiar with a vanishing twin?
I had an extra ultrasound due to bleeding at 7 weeks, and they saw a second gestational sac. This past weekend, I lost some blood again and I'm still experiencing quite a bit of abdominal cramping. Luckily, I have another ultrasound scheduled for next Wednesday.

Late reply, but my son was part of a vanishing twin. I'll try to respond in detail later. Have you already had the ultrasound? -

I had a nice ultrasound yesterday. The second gestational sac is still visible but not developing. I still lose a little bit of light bleeding from time to time, which could be due to that empty sac. Did you also find it hard when you found out you were actually expecting twins but lost one? I had a curettage at 9 weeks and 6 days for this pregnancy, so it was really double for me to know that it was a twin pregnancy where one wasn't developing properly.
