3D Ultrasound / Fun Ultrasound

I personally wouldn't do that. Mainly because of this:

I have a book here that says:
"Every unnecessary examination of the unborn baby should be seen as a disturbance, so it's better not to have extra ultrasounds just because it's fun. The so-called 'pretecho's'.
"Only when there is a good medical reason for the examination, weigh the benefits against the drawbacks." The official stance of the government and the European Society for Ultrasound...

That makes it unappealing to me already..

An extra one-time ultrasound can't really do any harm, you know. I'm currently getting 2-3 ultrasounds a week without any harm being done, so I think that one extra early ultrasound can't hurt. I did it during my first pregnancy. Not now because we're already getting so many ultrasounds....

I've already had so many (7!!!) for medical reasons..
They had to convince me it was really necessary, otherwise I wouldn't have agreed!

But anyway, this is written by people who are medically specialized in this topic...
And personally, I don't take unnecessary risks.
But it's obviously everyone's personal choice..

We decided to go for it! But I just had 2 ultrasounds!
Next week, for my birthday, we're going to see our little one again!
