HCG levels

Hi everyone, I could really use your experiences. Last week we got the happy news that I'm pregnant. The doctor took a blood test. Everything was fine. HCG levels were 87, which would correspond to week 4. This morning I had light bleeding. I went back and had another blood test. Today's HCG levels are 210. According to the doctor, this is too low; it should be around 700 by now. She says we should prepare for a possible miscarriage. I need to have my blood drawn again on Friday. I'm so worried. I really hope it turns out okay. Has anyone here had a similar situation and ended up not having a miscarriage?

Got the news yesterday that HCG levels had risen to 370, but progesterone levels had dropped. ???? The GP says a miscarriage is inevitable anyway. Since it's the weekend, they can't do much. If I get severe pain or bleeding this weekend, I'll go straight to the ER because they can't rule out an ectopic pregnancy. Otherwise, I'll see the gynecologist on Monday, who will decide whether to perform a D&C or let the miscarriage happen naturally. This is so hard; HCG levels rose slightly, and yet the baby still has to go.

Oh wow, what incredibly heavy and sad news! I don't have any experience with that, sweetheart. I wish you lots of strength for the coming days
