Daughter is ten months old and seems like a crybaby

Hi everyone,
I'm quite at a loss. Our daughter is a feisty little thing. If she doesn't want something, it just doesn't happen. She's been like this since birth, but it seems to have gotten even worse over the past month. She's constantly grumpy, crying, screaming, or yelling all day long. She seems terribly dissatisfied. If I glance over at my son while we're playing, she starts complaining. She refuses to drink, screams in the bath (recently), and it goes on and on. My approach is very clear; my son is an angel compared to her.

Last week, she had a bad flu and spent a lot of time sitting on mom's lap. Now I really can't deal with her anymore. Even the experienced daycare worker doesn't know how to fix this. It's getting worse and worse.

I'm considering asking the doctor for advice, but my partner thinks that's going too far. Meanwhile, I'm jealous of his five-day workweek. My loving family has offered to take her home for a day, but I'm really looking for a cause and solution.

I've been reading online about reflux and teething. Reflux was treated by the osteopath during her babyhood, and teething doesn't seem to be the issue. But that says nothing for sure. What do you think? What would you do? Do you have any tips for me?

Love,
Raan

You can also ask for advice at the health center, but if you want to just go ahead and do it with your GP. Your partner has an easy time saying that when he's at work. You're the one at home dealing with it. If you're worried, just seek help so you can handle it better later on.

So relatable, even though he's my first and only child. I really benefited from articles and a book about spirited kids. You can always ask your pediatrician (CB) and GP for advice, especially to rule out any medical reasons. My son goes through phases. One period was really intense, with tantrums all day long. But then there are calmer periods where he only has one tantrum a day. He's 15 months now, and I'm getting better at understanding what he wants and what he's trying to say, which really helps reduce his frustration.

I don't know if my reply is much help But at least there's some recognition in it.

Thank you! I'm already on the hunt for spirited babies.
