Daughter is sleeping poorly
AnoniemGuest ·
Hi there,
I'm not really familiar with this place yet, but I'd love to ask for some advice.
My daughter is 20 months old. She has never really slept through the night since birth. She wakes up about 2 or 3 times a night, and I can only get her back to sleep with a bottle. I never really minded this before, but now I'm finding it a bit draining, and it's not making me a happier mom during the day
.
We're not big on structure. We get up around 7 am. At her request, my daughter goes back to bed at 10 am and usually sleeps until about 1 pm. This usually goes without any problems. She often gets a bit tired around 4 pm. Then she'll sit on the couch for a bit with a book, or we watch TV together. We eat dinner between 5 and 6 pm. After that, she's allowed to watch some TV or play quietly. Bedtime is at 7 pm. She often sleeps until about 9 am. If she doesn't finish her bottle at 7 am, she often wants another one. After that, she's awake around 11 am, 1 pm, and 5 am. I've tried letting her cry it out before, but she can keep it up for hours, and I just can't..
Sorry for the long post. I hope to get some fitting advice from this.
