Good afternoon everyone,
I have a question.
I had my first ultrasound last week. There were clearly 2 gestational sacs visible, but only 1 had a baby inside. The heartbeat was very weak, and they think I'm just 6 weeks pregnant, but they couldn't say for sure. According to the calculation, I should be over 8 weeks pregnant at the time of the ultrasound. It feels really strange and gives me absolutely no good feeling. Now we have to have another ultrasound this week to be sure everything is okay with the baby. Does anyone here have experience with this?

I don’t have experience with two sacs, but at my first ultrasound, it turned out I was only 6 weeks and 3 days instead of over 8 weeks. The midwife said that could happen due to irregular cycles. And that was indeed the case. Now I’m 17 weeks pregnant. Wishing you lots of luck, I hope everything is going well for you too! -

Hi! I was also pushed back by 5 days, but if your cycles were irregular like mine, it could just happen like that. Makes sense
