1st trimester
Detached placenta
mlsc
Hi!
On Thursday, we got quite a scare. Around midday, my friend started bleeding at 7 weeks. Bright red bleeding. She didn't have any cramps. After the bleeding (filled a pad), she had nothing more. At 6 PM, we had an ultrasound. There we saw our baby with a strong heartbeat and nicely grown compared to 3 days before. The ultrasound clearly showed that part of the placenta had detached. The gynecologist gave us a 50/50 chance of a good outcome.
Has anyone experienced this?
What do you think about it?
Thanks in advance!
