Yesss, one nice follicle of 16 mm visible now. We’re supposed to start on Tuesday and Thursday, and come back on Friday. Hope that’s when ovulation will have happened

Well, I'm curious, Leeuwtje. I have to go for my first ultrasound tomorrow to see if I have a follicle and if it's doing something now, haha. Good luck to everyone!
  3. Leeuwtje #23

You too, good luck! Let me know how it goes?
  4. lana29 Guest #24

I had my ultrasound today and I had two follicles, one 16 and one 22mm, so we were allowed to try again and come back on Friday to see if it worked. I really hope it did because I don't know if I can handle more months of disappointment that it didn't work. ????

How exciting, Lana! Are you still testing for ovulation at home? I am, but I still haven't gotten a positive result... so it seems like the chance of it happening by Friday is pretty small, right?
  6. lana29 Guest #26

No, I don't test at home anymore. I just have sex every other day in the hope that it'll work out at some point HAHA. But I think two days between ultrasounds is really too fast to see anything already, no idea. Last month my ovulation happened right after I'd been to the doctor for an ultrasound, so I have no idea.

I had a positive ovulation test yesterday morning and went for an ultrasound this morning. And I ovulated

This first cycle with Clomid and ultrasounds went well. I've now been given Clomid for 3 months and don't have to go for ultrasounds anymore. I can try on my own using Clomid and ovulation tests. Unless it works this cycle, of course....... Now I just have to wait 14 days.

How did it go for you, Lana?
  8. lana29 Guest #28

Basically the same. I had an ultrasound and they could see that I had ovulated, and the lining was now thick enough. They also saw some fluid forming, so now I have to wait 14 days and see what happens haha. Otherwise, I would have to start taking Clomid myself without ultrasounds, so it's exciting to wait and see for both of us. I'll keep you in my thoughts.

I actually have the same story as you, Leeuwtje. I'll continue with Clomid if this round doesn't work out. The ultrasound looked really nice and fertile, let's just say that haha. We had to get back to work because I did ovulate those two days anyway. Now we're waiting to see if it works out this month. I'm curious, good luck Leeuwtje! I hope it's a hit for both of us this month.

I just saw that my post from earlier was actually posted, but now you know it's duplicated haha
  11. Leeuwtje #31

Haha, that's clear anyway, haha. So we're walking together? ???
  12. lana29 Guest #32

yes, indeed, now we wait and see
  13. lana29 Guest #33

    waiting is really exhausting
  14. Leeuwtje #34

Pff yeah, he. I find it even harder now because this was the first round with Clomid. I'm also feeling some period-like cramps or something...
  15. lana29 Guest #35

Yeah, that's right. I'm feeling all sorts of things too, and honestly, I'm not really enjoying it haha. I'm super emotional and can cry about anything.
  16. Leeuwtje #36

Oh, I've luckily had that phase a bit now. It's so exhausting, all that crying. Waiting always takes forever. Just look for some distraction.

I think I'll take a pregnancy test this weekend if I don't get my period these days. I am feeling nauseous and have sore breasts, but you can also have those from Clomid itself. Maybe I'm just imagining it, but I'll know more by the weekend. And you, Leeuwtje?
  18. Leeuwtje #38

Did you start testing over the weekend? How many days before your expected period are you then? I'm testing on Thursday if I haven't gotten my period by then. I haven't had any symptoms anywhere. Those period-like cramps I had occasionally (they lasted about 3 days after ovulation) are gone now.
  19. lana29 Guest #39

Yeah, my last menstrual cycle with Clomid lasted 20 days, so I figured that’d be the case this time too—I should’ve gotten my period today. So I thought I could test over the weekend. But I also have a blood test tomorrow to check if I had a good ovulation, so I’ll ask if they can test for pregnancy too.
  20. Leeuwtje #40

Ah okay. With me, they could see on the ultrasound that ovulation had occurred, along with the positive OPK test. So testing is on Thursday, 14 days later... Do you feel anything yet? I don't have any symptoms at all. Normally, a week before my period, my breasts get sore. Then I already know my period is coming. But then I always start to wonder if I might be pregnant because of that. But now I feel nothing... so then I start to think maybe I am pregnant and that's why I feel nothing frustrating! Six more days to wait....
