Goes so fast

Hey ladies!
I gave birth to my greatest miracle, Delaila, on April 3, 2016.
But now she's 7 months old and is pulling herself up to stand at the table. I'm super proud, of course, but also so sad that everything is moving so fast She says "mama" and "papa", waves, stands, crawls, drinks on her own, and sleeps well. All things I'm mega proud of, but why does it all have to happen so quickly?
I actually find being a baby less fun than this, but I did enjoy those moments together—feeding her in my arms, her falling asleep in my arms, just being calm and cozy with me. That's all gone now. I have a super cheerful, busy baby who wants to explore everything hahaha.
I'm curious how you all feel about early motherhood with all these new emotions.
P.S. I'm a mega proud mom and enjoy every day with my girl.

    Hi Jessie,
That's so nice to hear that everything is going so well with your beautiful girl. I completely understand and feel what you mean. I have a son who is now 3.5 years old and I'm pregnant with my second little one. With my first, everything really went by so fast... He started walking very early (10 months) and once crawling and walking are going well, you lose your child to their little explorations
haha my little boy didn't really sit on mama's lap anymore and such, and he started eating from the pot very quickly too. So bottle moments were no more, he also refused to drink formula, he always just wanted a meal
And he was 4 weeks old when he already slept through the night... Oh, I found it really hard on the other hand, I didn't have a cuddly baby anymore... He grew up too fast (in my opinion)
And you feel it even more when you have others around you who also have small kids but still have those moments with their mama.. haha
Besides, I'm really incredibly proud of my son and he's doing really well... But that's just how it is, you have easy-going kids and less easy-going ones..
Enjoy your beautiful girl, before you know it she'll be even bigger, with me those 3 years flew by!

    Congratulations on your pregnancy!
Yeah, but as you already say, so proud of my little one, the most beautiful thing that exists, sigh, sometimes it can really overwhelm you with happiness.
