severe stomach cramps

Hi everyone, I have a question.. I'm around 4/5 weeks pregnant but I've had quite severe cramps in my lower belly for over two weeks, really near my uterus I'd say. I'm quite worried about this, do others recognize this too? I can only lie on the couch with a hot water bottle when the pain hits. HA is afraid of an ectopic pregnancy but the gynecologist says that early on you don't have symptoms of that yet... so now I got laxative sachets but they're not helping yet sorry for the long message but I'm quite worried...
