Negative test at 6 weeks

Just a quick question. I've read a lot of forums, but now I have a question of my own.

I'm 6 weeks pregnant now. Last Sunday, after a week, I got a 'pregnant' result from the CB digital test.

Last week I had a little bit of red bleeding for 2 days, but it didn't continue. The midwife says there's nothing wrong.

After that, I tested with the Kruitvat strips, but the test was negative.

Meanwhile, I'm already 2 weeks late, and I don't know what to think.

I'm never late.

Can you still test negative at 6 weeks? Or is there really something wrong then? Not enough hormones.

I'm curious

I’d ask for an ultrasound and a blood test. By six weeks, you should already see something on the scan.

Kruidvat tests are quite sensitive, so you might want to try again... I also kept getting negative results at first, even though I was a week late. A few days later, I tested again and this time the line was clearer! Or you could just get a blood test ..
