When to convert the stroller

JettepetGuest ·
We have a daughter who's almost 4 months old and still in the stroller. She's so active in there that she swings her legs over the edge and wants to sit up every time. She only likes lying down when she's really, really tired. My question is: from which month can you convert the stroller into a walking stroller? Is it really only possible once they can sit up independently?

Don't know what kind of stroller you have, but on mine you can tilt the seat unit (which replaces the carrycot by then) slightly backward, so the little one lies back a bit, like in a bouncer. Isn't that an option for you?

I started using the seat of the stroller (Mutsy Igo) at 5 months. It's better for their back to lie flat for as long as possible, but if you recline the seat fully flat, that should work fine too.
    Just give it a try.
My friend also switched from the bassinet to the seat around 4 months because the bassinet was getting too small.

I also had to switch to the buggy seat after 3 or 4 months because the bassinet was too small. Of course, you'd have to lay it flat.
Alternatively, you could use the Maxi-Cosi. That way, they can see more too.
