long-term complaints after HELLP

Dear reader,

Now, two years after I went through hell and pain, I still have periodic complaints: fatigue, concentration problems, headaches. Who recognizes this? Especially when I've been busy or stressed, it pops up.

Greetings,
V

    Good evening,

This is normal, really. Your body will never be the same again. I had very acute HELLP and pre-eclampsia, which would have resulted in death for both me and my baby within two minutes, but I’m definitely not the same person anymore either. I also get sick much more quickly now.

Hi, I went through something similar almost 4 months ago. I also had severe complications after giving birth. My placenta didn't detach on its own, and I suddenly lost a lot of blood very quickly. There was a bit of panic in the OR. I was quickly put under general anesthesia. Luckily, I opened my eyes again a few hours later. But for the first 2.5 months, I felt really awful and unfortunately didn't feel that "pink cloud" either. My son was also born prematurely and was small, with a birth weight of 2535 grams. They say it's part of pregnancy-induced hypertension. He was hospitalized for another 2 weeks. He wasn't feeding well, while I was still feeling really awful. But anyway, that time is over now. I had high blood pressure for a while after that, and I still get dizzy quite often. I also sweat a lot and have hair loss with bald patches on my head. Otherwise, luckily, it's not too bad.
