Heartbeat at 7 weeks?

Hi,

We had an internal ultrasound at 5 weeks and 5 days, and there was still no visible heartbeat. I don’t think it’s really visible yet.
Tomorrow we’re having another internal ultrasound, and we’ll be 7 weeks (or 7 weeks and 4 days).
Should we expect to see a heartbeat then or not?
What are your experiences?
When did you first see a heartbeat?

    Then you should definitely be seeing a beating little heart by now, right! I could see my daughter's heart beating at 6 weeks and 2 days with an external ultrasound.

    Externally, right? I hope it can be external for me too.
    Last time it was internal.
    But with this ultrasound, they need to check my ovaries due to a cyst and the baby.

    Intern they can actually see more than an external ultrasound!
