Pregnancy symptoms first month

Hi,

I'm curious what pregnancy symptoms you all had in the first month?
And by the way, when do you start counting?
If someone says they are 4 weeks pregnant, do you count from implantation or from the first day of the last period?

Thanks

With my first pregnancy, I didn’t have many complaints. But I found cheese sandwiches absolutely disgusting! And minced meat too!

Since last week, I’ve been having bouts of nausea. Sharp pains near my womb.

I had a strong suspicion that I was pregnant. Tested positive since Friday.

You count from the first day of your last period. Only the Clearblue tests that show the number of weeks count from your ovulation.

I'm just really tired. Last week/2 weeks I've been super nauseous in the mornings and during the day I've had this nagging feeling in my stomach alternating with a tense belly. My digestive system is also all messed up and I can't go regularly anymore.

One moment I feel nauseous and can't even see or smell food, but then just as quickly I have a huge craving for food...
And a dry, thick throat (and I'm not a drinker)
Last Saturday I did the Clearblue test and it said +3 (so it would be +5 like doctors count; according to the leaflet)

    Hi ladies,
I'm still waiting for the answer whether I'm really pregnant or not... I first had a negative blood test, then a positive pregnancy test at home, and yesterday they drew blood again. I'll know the answer tomorrow afternoon.
I have to say I'm scared of having twins because I already have one child, and financially it would be too heavy with two more kids. (There's no real reason why I'd think it's a twin pregnancy.)

@stephanie: Are there twins in the family? Otherwise, I wouldn't be too scared.
    What was the result?

I started feeling nauseous at 4 weeks, which was also the reason I took a test, and sure enough! I'm now 7+5 and have waves of nausea at different times every day. I'm sooo tired, I go to bed at 8 pm every night and still yawn all day long. And I've got a bad taste in my mouth all the time. Can't wait for the first trimester to be over!

Hi! I’ve had the IUD out for 3 months now. For the past week, I’ve been having waves of nausea, cramps in my belly, but also feeling genuinely hungry again. My period is due this Thursday, so I’m thinking of getting a Clearblue test. Have you had any experience with it?

I've also had the feeling for a few days that I'm about to get my period. That pressure in my lower abdomen...

Good luck D! I'm now exactly 10 weeks and the nausea is still there. It's even worse than before... I hope this is the peak now.

For me, it started a week after my positive test with severe headaches and sharp pains in my breasts. Later, I became nauseous and I’m still feeling nauseous. I’m now 15+1 weeks pregnant with our first little one

Ah congratulations G and cutiex! How lovely! May I ask how long it took you? And did you pay close attention to ovulation and fertile days?

I'm now 4.5 weeks pregnant. Symptoms I'm noticing:
-I get occasional hot flashes. Suddenly I feel super warm..but it goes away after a quarter of an hour.
-I notice I'm dreaming a lot more and waking up startled.
    -cramps

But above all, I notice that I'm quite calm in my head. I have ADD and normally I'm very chaotic. I'm suddenly much calmer.

D, I've been dealing with this since February last year. I've had two miscarriages already. At first, I was careful with my egg, but for the last few months, I haven't been.

So glad you got pregnant after such a 'long' time, cutiex. Shows that when you're less focused on it, you suddenly get pregnant. Did you find the past year really tough? I notice I'm always thinking about it myself, and it's such a letdown when I get my period.
  14. Cutiex #15

    @D,
I wouldn't really call it heavy. It was always a disappointment though. But well, you always bounce back

Yeah, just doing less about it and focusing on other things, and you'll get pregnant naturally.
  15. D Guest #16

Yeah, I can imagine. But yeah, now enjoy it, girl!
  16. G #17

Hi D, I got pregnant unplanned... I wasn't taking my pill very consistently (sometimes in the morning, sometimes in the evening) because I'm always such a slob. But at the same time, I also took a homeopathic remedy for a bladder infection, which can also make you quite fertile. I took it really for the bladder infection and it helped... But it also made me VERY fertile, hence getting pregnant on the pill!

Hi G, that could also work! Hopefully it's desired? How are you feeling?
  18. G #19

Hi D! Sure thing.. It was definitely a bit of a shock, but we're really happy about it.. We always wanted a kid anyway, but were thinking more like a year or so. But hey, it's fine now! Today 10 weeks + 1 day and feeling terribly nauseous.. Almost all day in bed! Ugh...
  19. D Guest #20

That's so annoying! Did you also have symptoms while you didn't know yet? And only found out because your period stopped?
