Hey everyone
My little boy is now 10 months old and gets sick very often. More often than not... fever, but mostly colds and coughing/sore throat, ear infections. Because of this, we basically have a party almost every night, and it's really taking a toll on us. I'm not really a fan of antibiotics, but my little boy has had to take them a few times already.
Last week, the GP suggested he might have sensitive tonsils, but that an ENT specialist would be hesitant to operate at such a young age. We're going to make a plan of action for him next week. One solution might be to have his tonsils removed. But he's probably too young for that. Alternatively, there's another medication for him besides the puffer he's currently using.
Does anyone here have experience with this? Especially with having tonsils removed at a young age? Around a year old? How did that go?
