Miscarriage?

I'm 6 weeks and 3 days pregnant now, and suddenly today I noticed some pink discharge that keeps alternating between brown and pink. I've had one miscarriage before, but it was a "silent miscarriage." I'm so scared that something's wrong again and I have no one to talk to. Can someone please reassure me and share their experiences?

Thanks in advance!

Maybe reach out to a midwife in your area or where you already have an appointment?

Sorry, I don’t have much experience with this.

Oh, that's so tough for you!
I also had a miscarriage between weeks 6 and 7.
The OB-GYN said that with light bleeding there's a 50% chance...
For me, it started with a few drops of blood but the next day there was a lot of it, for a whole week straight. But you keep hoping...
I'm now 5.5 weeks pregnant and the fear is really strong for me too!!
    I'd definitely contact the OB-GYN.
I'm keeping my fingers crossed that everything will be okay!!

Yeah, I called the doctor, and they said as long as it's pink/brown and stays that way, there's nothing to worry about. But I'm still really worried. My breasts are still super sore, and I'm still feeling like crap. I hope everything keeps going well.. Thanks, and good luck to you too!

    Thanks Yaya!

When are you having your first ultrasound?

Mine's in a few days, so I'll only be 5.5 weeks and won't hear a heartbeat yet But my OB-GYN is on vacation in August, so she wanted to see me before then. I'm so nervous!

Keep me posted if you hear the heartbeat!

I have my 7-week ultrasound next Wednesday.

I really couldn't stop worrying last night. Normally I wake up with sore breasts because I sleep on my stomach, and I barely feel that anymore now. Wednesday feels so far away????

But with my daughter, my contractions also came and went, one hour a lot of discomfort and the next hour nothing. So don't stress about that
    Are you still having bleeding?
Yeah, if you feel insecure, time feels long, right!

I just got up to pee and I don't see any blood. Just normal discharge. Oh god, let it stay that way!!

Keep me in your prayers, it's helping ??

By the way, are you also feeling nauseous but not throwing up? I really have no appetite at all except for bread with chocolate sprinkles and mango juice.

The whole day I'm so incredibly nauseous, and if I smell any food, it gets worse.

I'm curious about your ultrasound and whether something will be visible this early. It's nice that you can chat with someone on Brabbels! I have no one who can answer my questions or support me because no one supports my decision to keep the baby. I'm just against abortion, and I already love my little miracle

Oww, I'm cheering for you, Yaya!! It's good that it's stopped though!
It's indeed nice that we support each other, you have to go through it first to realize how much stress and emotions it brings. You're so focused on that blood, pfff! And my husband experienced it completely differently than I did; he thought I was "overemotional," but he doesn't feel what's going on in our bodies!

If I eat immediately in the morning, I feel less nauseous and don't have to vomit. I really crave meat and apples

May I ask what you mean by keeping the baby? Are you in a difficult situation?
  10. yaya88 #11

I'm also going to try to eat something first thing in the morning. Maybe that'll help indeed.

The father of my baby doesn't want it. He really wants me to have an abortion but I absolutely won't do that. He treated me very badly and I'm scared of him. I have no more contact with him.

Also, I don't have any family living in the Netherlands. So I'll have to do everything alone. It'll be very heavy and expensive but I'm willing to do it. This baby is finally something positive for me and I really want to hold on to that after a difficult period in my life.

    Oh those men

I have a friend who is also in a tough situation.
She lives with her boyfriend in a house next to her in-laws. She’s now almost 9 months pregnant and he kicked her out of the house a few weeks ago (because he wants to stay living next to his parents). Why? He’s been having an affair with another woman for the past 10 months!! D So while they consciously chose to have sex to have a baby, he was already seeing someone else! What a jerk!!
Now she’s moved back in with her parents and will raise her baby (for now) there.

But I’d keep my baby just like you would! That’s truly the most beautiful thing in life!
Can you manage financially on your own? Otherwise, don’t worry—being a mom comes naturally; we don’t need men for that
  12. yaya88 #13

Oh, that's so tough for your friend! How can some men be so heartless, seriously! Bah bah

I'll just have to manage. I'm going to breastfeed for as long as possible, that saves a lot of costs, of course! And it creates a bond with the baby

I'm going to do everything I can to make it work.. This is simply my priority and I'm doing it with all my love

When are you due for an ultrasound?
  13. MyBabyAndMe #14

    That's so sweet of you!

I'm also going on Wednesday, so the countdown begins. I hope everything goes well. It's a pity that it's still too early to hear the heartbeat...
  14. yaya88 #15

Yes indeed! We're hoping for the best!!
  15. MyBabyAndMe #16

    Just 1 day left!
  16. yaya88 #17

Yes, I can't wait!! Even though I'm going alone, I'm really looking forward to it
  17. yaya88 #18

How did your first ultrasound go? Mine went really well. We got to see a beautiful little beating heart!! Everything looks really good too!
  18. MyBabyAndMe #19

Ooh, fantastic news for you!! It's so blissful to see your first baby!!
From now on, everything will run smoothly!

I'm currently in the waiting room, it's exciting...
  19. yaya88 #20

Oh how exciting! I'm curious!! I have an extra ultrasound in 2 weeks and then another one in 4 weeks! It's mainly to put my mind at ease because of the miscarriage last year. So that's nice. I was allowed to film the ultrasound with my phone, so I can watch it all day long haha
