Pregnancy age

Hi!

I’m curious about how old you were (or are) when you were pregnant for the first time. I often read that some of you are under 20 (me too, by the way), and how those people, as well as other mothers, dealt with the pregnancy (I find it quite interesting).

I was just before turning 22 when I got pregnant with #1. Now I’m just 24 when #2 is coming!

I could’ve been younger, but I can’t just get pregnant spontaneously

Just after my 21st birthday, I got pregnant with my first baby. I'm due tomorrow... a lot of people reacted negatively, thought it was too young.
For us, it was a conscious choice and we've never regretted it for a single moment.

I was 22 with the first. People thought it was a pity.
They said, "That's how you give up your freedom."
I'm very happy with my kids and wouldn't have wanted to start later.
With the second, I was 23 when I got pregnant and just 24 when I gave birth.
And with the third, I was just 30.
I do notice that I'm more patient now and a bit calmer than I was at 22.

You can't always plan kids, and other people will always have an opinion on the age when it happens. A lot of older people think it should happen as soon as you have a partner, and then you obviously have to be married because cohabitation is still a strange idea for some older folks. Others think it's too young before 30 because you should enjoy your youth, and others think you're too old as a mom if you only start trying after 35. Just ignore all that and hope it works out when you're ready. By the way, I was 29 for the first one and now almost 31 and pregnant with the second.

26 weeks pregnant, and I'll be 27 when I give birth.

    28 at the first one
    30 at the second one
36 now at the third one, who's almost here

I was 23 with my oldest. It felt so much more carefree back then compared to now, trying for the fourth. You really notice that you're older, especially with those fears being quite intense. I'd much rather be carefree again

I was just 23 when I had my first, and now I'm 25 and 26 weeks pregnant with my second.

I was 24 when I got pregnant and just turned 25 a few weeks before my due date. I always thought 25 was the ideal age. But everyone has to decide that for themselves, of course.

I'm 22 and have been trying to get pregnant for almost a year. I don't really dare share it with my circle because I'm afraid of reactions like "you're too young." I am worried it won't happen naturally since I've been trying for almost a year. I also use ovulation tests, but they don't really help much—just a sad smiley face..

I was 30 when I was pregnant with my first. Now I'm 40 and working on number 2.
