Pain in the upper legs

Hi ladies, a quick question:
I'm currently 24 weeks pregnant, this is my second pregnancy.

Whenever I'm about to get my period, I always have pain in 3 places: my lower abdomen, my lower back, and the upper part of my thighs. Now I've had that exact pain in my thighs for a few days, but obviously I shouldn't be getting my period since I'm pregnant. I didn't have this pain during my first pregnancy. It's not constant all day, sometimes not even for a whole day, but does anyone recognize this? Could these still be Braxton Hicks contractions? I'm seeing my gynecologist next Friday so I can ask then, but I'm curious to hear what you all have to say in the meantime.

Thanks!!

Hi Mama, that does sound weird and uncomfortable. Since I'm not a doctor, I wouldn't dare to judge. It could be anything, from normal stretching to something else. Just give your midwife or the baby clinic a call to find out what's going on. Better to check than to regret it later!
