Are there any people here who also have an EDD of December 13th?

Hi everyone,
I like connecting with people who are also due around this time. It's quite exciting and I enjoy sharing experiences here. My girlfriends aren't pregnant or mothers yet. My boyfriend left for abroad yesterday and will be gone for 4 months. It's a special time and I'm pregnant with my first baby! We found out last week that it's a boy! Everything is going well, I haven't been sick and the baby is growing well. I'm curious about your stories!
Greetings,
Rinske

    Hi Rinske,
I'm pregnant for the first time too and never really felt sick.
(except for a urinary tract infection where I had to spend a week in the hospital, which scared us greatly)

My husband is much older than me, I'm 22 and he's 45.
He already has 2 sons (and a little star who was 3 weeks old when he was just 19)
But according to him, it's very different now; he's so involved that he's even experiencing pregnancy symptoms himself (nausea, vomiting, grumpiness..:silly

Our little one is also quite big even though I don't eat much.
But what a terrible thing that your friend is away for 4 months??
I really don't want to think about that!!
    I would go completely crazy.
But well, my due date is early December and I'm getting the 20-week ultrasound on Wednesday.
Our bundle stays closed until birth, but a girl would of course be amazing!!

    Greetings, Olivia

    Hi Rinske,
My due date is Dec 5th.. everyone says "oh how nice" but I really hope to give birth a bit earlier or later. I don't know what it'll be yet, I'll find out next Friday =)
You're lucky that you haven't been really sick.. although I shouldn't complain too much, I was nauseous during the first 9/10 weeks but never had to throw up. I did have a bladder infection and I still get occasional stomach issues.
In my circle I already have quite a few girlfriends who are mothers, so now it's finally my turn!
It sounds awful to have to miss your friend for 4 months, is it for work?
    Cheers, Chantal

    Hi ladies,
No, I don't know yet what it is, I'll find out on Friday but I'm so terribly impatient haha..
Congrats then and it's definitely not nice that your boyfriend isn't there, I'm also very emotional at the moment, I can cry about anything! Do you keep in touch while he's there? Don't think too much about how long he'll be away, but that he'll be back with you in a little while, and hopefully he won't have to be away from you for a long time then.
It's really sweet of the midwife that you're allowed to come in for an extra visit, it's still such a beautiful sound that little heart..
I'm feeling more of those 'plops' in my belly AND I thought this morning when I had my hand on my belly that I could feel it against my hand..!! Well, I was half asleep haha so I'm not sure.
Well girl, stay strong and enjoy your pregnancy!! I'll leave a message on Friday to say what it is =)
    Greetings, Chantal

My due date is December 18th. A week later it's Christmas, and two weeks later it's January 1st... well, as the midwife said: it'll come on its own birthday! Hahaha... that's true, of course. I'm 18 weeks now and still haven't felt the baby. Sometimes I think, do I feel it now? But then I doubt myself again.

It's tough having to go through the 4 months alone. Seems weird to me, because you can't share your daily things. Do you keep a journal?

The ultrasound was good, we really enjoyed our baby, she was very active too, and it's a girl!

    Oh Chantal, that's awesome!!
I didn't want to know, and suddenly out of nowhere the gynecologist says:
"Que chica guapa!" ???? Spilled the beans!
My husband and I just stared at each other in shock, those eyes of his!!!!
He's wanted a daughter for so long!
I couldn't be happier, I can finally give him what he's been longing for,
    it makes me so happy!

    Hi Rinske,
That's so nice that you finally felt the baby!!
Just wait, you'll feel them much more clearly soon!!
But it's such a magical feeling, and for me, it was very reassuring that she was so active in the hospital!!

Yeah, this time was actually even more intense than the first time.
I had such a bad urinary tract infection that I ended up with a kidney crisis. (again!)
The problem is that I have a high pain threshold; I feel nauseous, sick, and get a fever before I even feel pain..
I literally froze, woke up at night shivering and chattering my teeth (under two down duvets in Spain Hahaha), my husband wanted to take me to the hospital, but I just wanted to sleep because I was exhausted.
When he came to check my temperature, I was at 39 degrees!!
    I almost passed out!!
Once at the hospital, the sudden pain was enough to make me cry!

But anyway, the baby wasn't affected by it at all, which was such a relief!!
And just as suddenly as it came, it was gone again after 3 days!!
Now I still have to take antibiotics at home for 2 weeks and get tested every month until delivery to make sure it doesn't come back..

I feel super good now though!!
    How is your pregnancy going?

    Hi ladies,
I'm also due on December 13th! It's also my (our) first, I find it all really exciting. Next Thursday I'm getting the 20-week ultrasound. I'd really like to know if it's a boy or a girl, I'm so curious, I can hardly wait!
The pregnancy is going really well. I've already had 3 ultrasounds and everything looked great. As for the discomforts: the first 3 months I was very tired and nauseous, and I had to vomit from time to time (not too much, luckily). Now the nausea is almost gone, but I'm starting to get back pain, and the fatigue hasn't gone away yet. But I think it's all pretty manageable, I can enjoy this time.
Since last week I've been feeling the baby kick, indeed a kind of 'plops'. My boyfriend has felt it too, which I found nice, then I can share it with him.

I'm also due on December 13th! For the past few days I've had some lower back pain, which isn't really pleasant, but I know what we're doing it for and I feel the little one moving so nicely every day. That's such a great feeling and makes it all worthwhile again.

    Hi ladies!

My due date for our second baby is Dec 13th. I already have a 2.5-year-old daughter.

But it's super exciting again! We had our 20-week scan on July 27th and would really like to find out the gender because my husband is super curious. But we didn't know there was such a long waiting list, so we're just patiently waiting until the 27th.
