Calculating hcg levels

Hi ladies, I have a question about the hCG hormone,
I first tested lightly positive on June 4th last year, and on June 10th I had an hCG blood test due to a miscarriage at 5.3 weeks of pregnancy in May. Just before that miscarriage, I also had an hCG test, which was at 37. So very low... On June 10th, I went for another blood test after a positive pregnancy test; this hCG was at 200, which corresponds to a pregnancy duration of about four weeks, but according to my calculations, I should be about six weeks pregnant in a few days... Now I know that hCG doubles every 48/72 hours, but then I should be at an hCG level of 1800... Isn't that quite low?... Or can it suddenly catch up?... Besides that, I don't have many symptoms other than waking up early and being tired all day long... Can someone tell me more about this?... Thanks in advance

It's a tricky situation right now; you want to feel everything, but I do have more symptoms than last month, which is a positive sign. But it makes me anxious. I already have an ultrasound on the 27th... would they do it so soon because I had an MC?.. Wishing you lots of success with your pregnancy.

According to your own calculation, you should be 8 weeks pregnant on the 27th if I counted right ;-)
So that's normal. On 7/7 I'm also 8 weeks and we're going to have the first ultrasound then too. I totally understand your anxious feelings, and I'll only feel at ease once we've had the ultrasound and hear a heartbeat. This time I do have more symptoms, which makes me feel a bit calmer, but you're never really completely at ease... I have a friend who had her periods until she was 3 months pregnant and had no symptoms at all. She only found out at 3 months that she was pregnant, and her daughter is healthy and well. So you don't necessarily need to have a lot of symptoms to be pregnant, I think. Try to distract yourself a bit, I'd say. Big hug and I'm rooting for everything to be okay!

Thank you, Annelies! I wish you a wonderful pregnancy, that everything goes well, and that we both get to hear a little heartbeat!
